It's no Super Mario 3D World

User Rating: 2 | New Super Mario Bros. U + New Super Luigi U WIIU

Many people will most likely disagree with me, but I hate this game. Because Super Mario 3D world wasn't super difficult, I decided to buy Super Mario Bros. U. I bought it even though it's a side scroller and I hate side scrolling games. But I don't hate this game because it's a side scroller. I hate it because it's pretty difficult. I heard that the newer Mario games are easier than their 8bit and 16bit counterparts, but not this game.

If this game would give unlimited lives or unlimited continues, it would be okay, but it gives neither. Just a few days after I bought it, I traded it in at Gamestop. I traded it because I knew that the more I would've played it, the madder I would've became, and I don't like getting mad. I decided to get rid of it and save myself a lot of aggravation.

This game is by no stretch of the imagination another Super Mario 3D World, 'which is another Wii U Mario Game'. I own Super Mario 3D World and would never even think about trading it. I won't trade it because it's not super difficult. If any of the people who read this review are good at playing Super Mario Bros. U, I congratulate them. If they're good at playing it and can beat it, they are excellent video game players and deserve pats on their backs. But I find this game to be more difficult than it needed to be. I'm giving it a rating of 2 out of 10 for two reasons. It's a side scroller and it's frustrating to play.
