A charming adventure featuring our favourite plumber in a side-scroll adventure

I finally finished with this game, and I cant honestly say, It was really fun. I think that is all that matters in the long run. I mean the game has a charming and colourful art style, some of the best co-op money can buy, and some of the best level design in terms of the Mario series. Super Mario Bros U is not ground breaking, nor is it at the same level as Kirby's: Return to Dreamland (Which I think is the highlight of all platformer games, and I feel is flawless in its execution). But what Mario Bros U has is fun. And in end the ability to play it fully on the gamepad is the largest redeeming factor. Just makes it super nice being able to play it fully on the screen on the toilet.
Probably something I should really add is that the game is actually rather hard this time around, and actually feels like less like a reboot of older Mario games, and feels like something all on its own. It feels as if previous side scrolling Mario games were all a prototype for this game. The end product is so complete that it is almost stunning.
