Kinect Sports Rivals delayed
Rare's motion controller-focused sports title now listed for spring 2014.
The next Kinect Sports title (and developer Rare's first Xbox One title) will not be out at launch for Microsoft's new console.
Kinect Sports Rivals will be out in spring 2014 instead of its intended holiday 2013 release. According to a Microsoft representative (via Polygon), the title was delayed so that it could be polished by Rare. A preview build for the game will be playable for the first time at Penny Arcade Expo Prime and Gamescom this August.
Kinect Sports Rivals features six minigames that require motion control: climbing, wake racing, soccer, bowling, tennis, and target shooting.
