Ever wanted to play as a team of babies, or even snowmen? You can do that, and many more things, with the expansive unlockables, both of old NHL jerseys, and completely new teams and stadiums. Fights are always fun to watch in hockey, but in Hitz, they actually matter. The loser is out for the game. With turbo, two different dekes, and the ability to have your player, or whole team catch on fire, offense is never boring. Oh yeah, did I mention the game is called Hitz? Even the goalies dish out pain, and you can check someone over the boards with ease. While it doesn't have the greatest franchise or season mode, this slightly over-the-top sim has a great skills competition mode, and with codes to tweak the playing options and amazing multiplayer, I still play it from time to time now.
