A 2D fighter that anyone can get into.

I won't spend time discussing the story line for this game, as it's pretty generic. Just know this: You pilot gigantic robot fighting machine into arena's to beat up other gigantic robot ighting machines.
This game I'm sure has many details that would bother experienced players of one-on-one fighting games. Let discuss these first:

1. The look is a little cartoony
2. There are a limited number of moves and combo's to pull off
3. Combo system may be too simplistic for some
4. Limited environments to fight in
5. The news recaps after the fight get repetitive

Lucky for me, those things did not bother me, and did not detour me from having a great deal of fun.
There is a decent selection of robots to pick from, each with their own unique look, strategic advantages, and special attacks.
The special attacks are quite easy to pull off, which is good for a casual player like me. When you need to complete a 6, 10, or 14 step series of controller moves to pull off an attack, I'm just not that interested. The robot fighters are also all well rounded and balanced. This is a nice change from some fighting games, where you only seem to suceed with 1 or 2 characters.
Your overall control is also pretty tight, and easy to manage.

The environments you play in often have an danger element. This means you'll have to not only look out for you oppenent, but for the spikes, electric fenses, gun ships, etc, that will also be out to cause you damage.

If you play through the story mode, you will be able to purchase upgrades for your fighter to make them faster, stronger, and more durable. Because it's easy to get into, and fun to play, with unique fighters available, One Must Fall is a great game for me.
