More of a drive really fast and try not to kill yourself game than a racing game this game was super fun.
This game still serves as one of my primary arcade memories. This and Mortal Kombat were the kings of the arcade scene in my mind.
This is more of a driving game, practice for evading cops or driving drunk maybe as you race your rerrari down packed beach roads.
There was basically no features other than that. Pound the gas and go...and sit next to a blonde.
The checkpoint system i dont want to say was invented by this game, but it sure felt that way...this game was motivation for so many other game creators.
Arguably this was the greatest racing game of the 80s and probably the early 90s too...it would still be fun but i dont have a clue as to where one would find this thing...possibly the ps network but i doubt its there either.
