A great game that you'll get the most enjoyment out of if you queue in a group with your friends.

User Rating: 9 | Overwatch (Origins Edition) PC

This game is near perfect for me. I would give it a 10 if certain things were fixed, but some may be impossible to do so.

As of this review (6/10/2016), client to server communication still operate at 20 tick rate where a more acceptable rate would be around 60 ticks. What this contributes to aside from latency is still getting shot while juking behind cover or being unable to dodge a hook or trigger your ultimate properly if your opponent did an action near the same time. It's hard to explain and there's videos on YouTube that you can look up to find out more. Some are from the developers themselves and some are from other users.

Solo queuing is generally a nightmare because no one on your team will probably want to support which is helpful if you want to be able to keep your health up. Generally, professional teams run a Tank, Semi Tank, 2 Supports, and 2 DPS (Damage Per Second) characters. What you'll run into when you solo queue is normally half of your team going sniper heroes. The problem with this especially if you're on attack in push the payload modes for example is that it'll be impossible to push because your sniper team mates will stay camped the whole the game and never push the objective. This is why this game is only worth getting if you have friends you know that have it or are friendly enough to make new friends within the game on your own.

The developers do listen to their player base on major issues. McCree will be getting a nerf next patch for example since he counters too many different heroes currently.

There is a rumor that the game forces you to be at around a 50% win rate but this I believe is misunderstood. My win rate as of this review is around 58%. When I play in 6 stacks I generally seem to win more games. When I play in smaller groups I find myself more likely to run into losing streaks more often and such. Take that as you will, but it's something to possibly keep in mind.

As someone that has tried Team Fortress 2 and have put over 2000 hours into Dota 2, this is a unique blend between the 2 in a way. There is a class system along with abilities unique to each hero. Each hero also has an ultimate ability that they can charge up and use once in a while that can greatly affect the game when used properly. Overwatch really is a one of a kind game despite what some people might say that haven't put in the time into it to see it for what it actually is.

I give this game a 9/10. It's a must buy if you have friends that already have it or if you're friendly and are willing and able to make new friends easily and enjoy a game that's like a cross between TF2 and Dota 2.
