A great new take on a historic series.
The platforming action in this title is much more vried and a good bit more difficult that I expected from this title. It includes a lot of moves (bouncing, rev-rolling, and airborn tactics) that you don't find in many platformers. The variety keeps things from ever getting stale, though some of the difficult levels can be frustrating.
The graphics are amazing and the controls are solid. The camera cannot always be controlled by the player, but the game does a good job of keeping everything in view.
The music is catchy and does a good job of setting the mood. The game borrows from Zelda in that most of the dialouge is through subtitles only, and this is my only complaint. A little bit of voice acting would go a long way in this title.
This game fits perfectly into the just plain fun category. At greatest hits pricing, I highly recommend it as a purchase for anyone with a Game Cube. The game is perfect for all ages and is a fun diversion from other titles gamers like me are playing on their other consoles.
