This is clearly the most ambitious pokemon title yet. It's the one I had the most fun playing and took the most time to finish. The stories feel fresh compared to what we had before, the new pokemon designs are in my opinion better than thos of last few generations. The characters also feel way more human and likeable than usually.
But there is one big problem, this title needed more time or more people working on it to have the polish it deserved. The switch is of course getting old and that doesn't help but in that case if they didn't want to spend more time optimizing they should have kept that game for the next console and realize a least ambitious title that could be finished in time.
The way Legends arceus worked with differentes zones made it possible to have a game close to and open world but without as much issues as S/V. The artistic direction also made Arceus look way more polished than S/V that tries to look more modern and realistic, which on some rare places does work, but most of the time just looks very rough.
This would have been the best pokemon game yet in my opinion if these technical issues weren't present. I loved playing this game but it's a shame to release it in this state.
