This is the only game I've played in which I didn't care about the story
The story in Prototype isn't completely original. There have been many games which have a story that is almost the same as Prototype. But that doesn't mean Prototype's story is bad. It is actually very intriguing.
Graphics 7/10
The graphics aren't bad for 2009, it isn't great either. The graphics isn't a problem though, because the gameplay completely overshadows it.
Gameplay 8/10
Now this is the best thing about this game. It is so much fun to play. It is repetitive but in a good way, it doesn't get boring. The game was so fun that I didn't care about the story at all. In fact, I didn't know what exactly happened in the story until I watched the trailer for Prototype 2 by IGN!
But there were some things that bothered me. Whenever I start driving a tank, all the pedestrians run around like there are infected people there. Also, when I just touch a car only a LITTLE(while in the tank) it gets crushed. The big military trucks explode on contact(when in a tank) but the cars just get crushed.
The cars feel like they are made of cardboard. They are so easy to move around, you just run towards them(just pressing forward button not the fastest way) and you can easily move them away.
The controls were not easy to use. The controls were the only reason why I wasn't able to get gold in the point to point races.
Sound 10/10
The music fits perfectly with the game and the sound effects are great too.
Overall, Prototype is a great game. This game could have gotten a higher rating, but some things kept me from giving it a 9. You won't regret buying this game
