Prototype (2009)

This game blew my mind.

There I was standing in EB games searching threw all the same old games. Then I saw a game that called out to me, The decision was made in an instant and I got one of the best sandbox games since GTA.

Prototype is a game that in my opinion delivered all that I want in a good game. The story is pretty solid and I like how it progresses. The gameplay varies from being super easy to a decent challenge. There are also a ton of challenges to do as well aside from the main game. Another great feature of this game is the amount of gore it has (Just use whipfist) it doesn't hold back at all. The game does however have a few drawbacks, one of them is the AI which is completely moronic. You could kill someone and then jump 200 feet in the air with no one the wiser. Also some of the missions seem to get repetitive but other than those two things this game is a must have. 8.5/10.
