Take Mad Max, Fallout and Doom, throw them in a blender and strain out the best parts. This is tons of fun and fast paced. Looking back, I wish I had purchased this game sooner because it’s a blast to play. PRO - Fast combat (very Doom-Like) - Tight FPS interaction (mechanics are NOT sloppy) - Weapons feel different from each other - Open world map is huge with tons of “quests” - Cars are fun to drive - Great humor - Decent story - Environment is very dynamic with new activities popping up - Rage mode is incredibly fun - Great graphics and environment CONS - “Dungeon” levels are generally simple in design - Story is kind of flat - Driving mechanics remind me of Mass Effect (basic) Overall, the game takes great elements from other genres and blends them together. It may not do any one thing perfectly, like more focused games (COD, Skyrim, etc.), but it doesn’t them well enough that the shortfalls don’t interfere with the play through. Lastly, my biggest point in giving this a positive review.... it’s just fun game to play. At the end of the day, I look forward to playing it because it’s so cool. If you’re into fast, tight fun fights, destruction and mayhem, this is a great game for you.
