Shortly: if you are either resident evil fan or not you must try this game after playing resident evil biohazard. Long Review: Finally after waiting lasted for 4 years , capcom brought us the sequal that we all waited for to resident evil biohazard. Resident evil village is a great mixing of vampire style games, frankiestien, lycans with a touch of Resident evil 1 and resident evil 4 beside that it gave us the feeling of evil within, 2016 P.T. and sometimes outlast even sometimes it felt like far cry 5 . Resident evil 8 mixed all these succesifully and brought to us unforgettable experience . Lets talk about the story alittle , after 3 years from lousiana and baker family event , one night due to unexpected event , ethan starts another journey into european medivel countryside to save his daughter (Rose) from a great evil power called mother miranda. This journey is full of darkness ,witchery, and monsters like lycans , zombies and vampires , Resident evil has never been this wide before . But before resident evil 8 , you must have a background on resident evil 7 and its events. Resident evil village answers all the mysterious questions that havent been answered in resident evil biohazard with an amazing twist to the origin of resident evil , but like any resident evil game you must read all the files to fully understand all the hidden details . The story is perfect. Talking about the charachters , this game is full of amazing unforgettable charachters , starting with Ethan winters our hero and you can see the improvements of this guy since lousiana , then our guy Chris , this is whole different chris from the one of RE7 and RE5 and this is best Chris since RE1 and his role in this chapter was so big . And now about the villains Resident evil 8 offered bounch of awesome lords each is different from the other. Hesinberg he is a genious scientist who reminded me of lucas from resident evil 7 but with stronger charisma then our love , lady Dimitrescu and her lovely daughters were amazing but wish they had bigger role in the game , and ofcourse the beautiful mother miranda but the charachter who attracted my attention was The duke , he is the merchant in this game who has a great role in this game who reminded me of the merchant in Resident evil 4 . And alot of side charachters that should get their own dlces like Elena . Development of the events in Resident evil village was so accurate and well made from the begining till the end and since the first 15 mins of the game i had many questions to get answered (what, who, why,how?) And at the end they all got answered and well connected , this gave the game excitment to keep going and look for the answeres . The gameplay: It is 1st person prespective with action horror survival feature. with smoother, better and more fun gameplay compare to the previous title with alot of enemy types , each area offered different enemies with different style and weaknesses and placement of the enemies and their awareness was so well detailed , and the boss fights in resident evil village was better than all previous titles and some of the bosses was unforgettable like the baby boss or mother miranda . Another great feature of this game was exploring feature and the side missions that makes you look in every corner for hidden areas , activities and backtracing feature in this game was awesome and crafting materials or using animals meats to gain abilities was an amazing feature in the game and arsenal weapon variation was so amazing , it had a a huge amount of weapons and each had its downgrade and positivity . Another thing this game offered that lacked in the previous titles was puzzles, this game offered few good puzzles that they werent frustrating .hardest riddle for me was arranging the inventory to make space however inventory desing was more open and better compare to previous RE. Now about the enviroment varriations i should clap for capcom to offer all these amazing different unique enviroments starting from snowy village to high old style castle which reminded me of spence mansion or lake area which reminded me of the lake mission of Resident evil 4 or the dark house which reminded me of P.T. and the factory of hesinberg which reminded me of evil within and silent hill and all these areas were connected to the center which was the village . And snowy enviroment was perfect choice Resident evil 8 offered big well detailed map that offered many hidden areas , they made use of every corner . Graphics and sound effect The graphic of village was impressive even on ps4 sometimes it felt like i was watching a movie instead of a game , the animations in this game was so well especially enemies movement, attacks were so well and the charachters animations were so good , or gun reloding or gun shots were so accurate and about soundeffect this game made me speechless it offered best sound effect and musics especially the post credict music and the safe zone areas it offered the original music of the area . this game offered some unforgettable dialogues each charachter had its own tone and they all impressed me especially hesinberg . The flaws ; this game had few minor flaws It had some glitches in the roof area of the castle that hopfully will be fixed in the coming patches And some charachters didnt get enough attention like lady dimitrescu and some got all the attention After finishing the game what then? After the first playthrough it offeres you points to purchase new weapons or infinite weapons so the replay value in this game is so amazing and beside these it will offer you higher diffeculty . But another amazing thing about this game , it offered the mercenary mode which brought back the memories of the old titles which depend on speed , accuracy and tests your skills in 8 chalaenging levels .
