Behind the sexy moves, madness in mud and b-movie dialogues, there is a hidden gem of wreslting games.

User Rating: 9 | Rumble Roses PS2
My first impression of Rumble Roses was "wrestling at DOA-style", and aside of the similarities between Dixie Clemets and Tina Armstrong, the wrestling girls game of Konami is more than just eye candy. With great graphics, over-the-top moves and story lines for each one of the characters (and his alter egos), the Roses of Wrestling debuts in an awesome game, made for the specialists in wrestling games, YUKE's.

Konami call it "the first all women wrestling game" and that is pretty false, considering the games based in All Japan Women Pro Wrestling (for PSOne, Super Famicom, and PC-FX), but we can give they the fact of RR as the first all women wrestling game OUTSIDE japan. With archetypes like the cowgirl, the mad scientist, the mysterious ninja and many others, RR gives to the player lots of fun in any of the game modes, that means story mode or the exhibition modes; regular match, mud match and title match, where you can unlock features for the gallery option.

In conclusion; if you want a deep story with thousand of characters and hard-to-lean gameplay, this game is not for you. If you want to have fun with a very good wrestling game, with good graphics and a gameplay easy to learn, go and buy it. Those Roses are waiting for a challenge!
