Decent game that doesn't feel very connected to the RWBY story

RWBY: Arrowfell is a decent game. A lite metroidavania game that feels like it doesn't lean on it's source enough to warrant it's existence. The gameplay is pretty simple and once you find the character you prefer you will pretty much stick with them for every moment that does not require another character to use their one special ability for exploration. As mentioned, the story does not feel insanely connected to the RWBY world. The animated cutscenes are definitely the highlight of the story, but outside of that this game feels like a RWBY flavoured metroidavania, rather than a metroidavania that takes place within the world of RWBY. If you're a fan of RWBY, then go for it. Otherwise I'd pass on this one.
