Any fans of the Virtua Tennis series from the Dreamcast could understand the long-standing appeal-

-But apparently everyone on Amazon believes this to game to be some kind of farce. Sure the music is a little repetitive, but as far as tennis action, it has plenty of it, including fan service, decent features and a good amount of balanced controls. People must be either quite clumsy with the Wii remote or never played any of the Virtua Tennis games, so I'll just mention that the control schemes are identical in just about every way, and honestly for someone who completely dislikes the Wii remote, I found them to be quite adequate control-wise. If anything the delay in swinging the racket made sense to me and didn't hurt my gameplay experience. Some of the children I ended up sharing my game experience with were also quite intrigued and over all I found it to be a better experience than the "flailing" and quite obsolete Wii Sports tennis mini-game. I find the less frustrating the gameplay the more I will actually enjoy a mediocre title, but all fan-service aside its not a bad game by any means and I would still place it above most tennis games on the platform. It surprises me lately what many would find "difficult" initially versus what becomes more annoying over time due to its intrinsic failures that become more apparent as people keep playing a game.
