This game was short. I beat it in one day. The graphics are beautiful and the sound effects really pull you into the scenery to make it feel realistic. From the start there was no introduction on the characters, who they are and what their purpose is so I had a hard time feeling invested in my character. I didn’t like him, I didn’t care about his friend, wife? princess? Who is she? I guess it doesn’t matter? I don’t even know my characters name but he feels like a knock off of Link, only flimsier, clumsy and constantly gets knocked out just long enough for the colossus to knock him out again until he dies. I cannot express how much I hated his character. I do enjoy how each Colossus took a different strategy to kill however finding them was easy, killing them was easy. You climb onto the colossus and stab the blue spots. Nothing changes. After the second colossus there was a repeated pattern back to the temple, the statue falls, you look up and the annoying off tone voices repeat the same frigggen sentence “thy next foe....” which had me begging for some kind of storyline, anything... I got nothing. Although Argo was very annoying to ride was the most attached character I fell in love with. He did not deserve the stupidity of his rider and I felt physically angry at the end because of my characters bad judgement and what he did to Argo. It was an interesting game to play and I would say it’s worth it considering you can beat it so quickly so you don’t really need to invest much time. It lacks a storyline though and it’s very repetitive, there are no side quests or levelling up. Just ride to the next colossus, repeat.
