Getting old so fast is a bitc*

The game is fantastic and highly addictive; unfortunately one element drag it down. It was all fun and dandy when I started on my adventures. Everything was going fine for me and as I was gaining more experience I was expecting to finish all the quests. But there was a nasty surprise in store: I was getting old losing my abilities and my crew started to nag all the time, I mean it's pretty damn disappointing when you practically become an invalid at age 39 after only 21 years at sea! I didn't pay much attention to the passage of years until I was forced to retire having completed about one fifth of the quests. So many things to do with so little time that it's ridiculous. And so much time was wasted either in jail (30 seconds gameplay = 6 months of my short useful life) or for going eastbound against the wind which is always from East to West. Had the developers slowed down the passage of time and allowed one to play the game til age 60, it would have been a wonderful game. You would maybe have about 50 hours of gameplay to do all the quests. As it is I am forced to play a new game, and this time around be very conscientious of my heath and getting old which is something I won't do again and it's a shame. Still I got about 15 hours of gameplay which is fine.
