When darkness comes to town.
Now this is the second game of silent hill series and to some people say the one of the best and so one of the best horror games there is. The story is good and the main character is a normal person with a normal problem and that is to find his dead wife. Aren't we all are looking for our own dead wife's? James Sunderland get a letter from his dead wife and tells him to meet in the Silent hill town what was her favorite place. So James go there to find his wife and then everything goes wrong.
This part bring the series the famous monster pyramid head what has a part of the twisted world of silent hill and James mad mind. Again I have to say that the story is really good but to understand it as whole you have to read some other place to get all the things out of it. But in the end you do get to understand at least the main point.
The sub-characters are good too at least when you play the extra content with Maria. All the people in silent hill are twisted is some wrong way even the main character.
Sure I have to say that the game mechanic is kind of horrible and the combat system is horrible but I think it is kind of good, cause then you want to run more than fight and that is much more realistic.
The monsters are weird and no one really explain why they are there and why the whole place is like it is but if you play all of the silent hill games you can understand why.
Still I have to say this is one of my favorite horror games there is and there is a reason why people love silent hill games. The first part and second and maybe even the third one are really good ones. After those the road is been down hill.
If you like horror genre and don't mind some bad graphics then this is one of the best games there is.
