Campaign is alright as long as the repetition doesn't bore you yet, but character customization is real fun.

Soul Calibur's fencing style gameplay doesn't really fancy me but the campaign makes it quite engaging even though the repetition may be a bit overbearing. The appearance of Kratos from God of War is a good add-on, though it's a pity he doesn't add anything new to the gameplay except being a cool fighter. At least the game looks as good as the Tekken series on the PSP with its slick 3D graphics, as well as beautifully designed characters and ultimately, great costumes!

For me, most of my time is spent on the wardrobe section in this game, much like a little girl with her Barbie set. There are tons of costume customizations where the only motivation for me to play the campaign as well as some VS fights is to unlock more of these costumes! Turn Siegfried into FF7's Cloud or Setsuka into KOF's Mai Shiranui (sick giggle...)!

Anyway, the way the game appeals to me doesn't really justify Broken Destiny's premium price, so a weekend rental would just do well.
