SS review
The powerups are incredibly easy to obtain. Drafting behind your rival is enough to fill up your bar near to maximum, so you can take out rivals without much skill or planning. The enemy AI is ok, but there is some rubber banding. The driving mechanics are your typical arcade handling characteristics.
The biggest problem with SS is how shallow it is. Each race feels the same thing, and there isn't much skill needed to win races, it's just a case of trial and error. There isn't depth to the game at all. Sure, you can paint your car, but apart from that, there isn't much here to keep you busy.
Overall, SS is a ok game, but it's just not worth your hard earned cash, and even as a rental you'll want your money back.
