Jedi Survivor surpasses the first game at almost every level, and for a game sequel (or any kind of sequel really) that is quite the achievement.
The first department in which Jedi Survivor does best are graphics, sure I have to admit that it does take quite a toll on your PC and you might need some high end equipment to fully enjoy the experience at its max settings, but you will not regret it, the environment, the landscapes, gameplay, the movements, everything is astonishingly well made.
They managed to have the same formula of semi-open world type of game but they created an even more beautiful and intriguing set of planets for you to navigate. There are some really cool playable scenes during the main story and most of the collectibles will make you wish to explore the map in its entirety.
I do have to say that while the chests and echo's are fun to find I didn't became a fan of the resources you can find to exchange for more loot, I feel that the shopping mechanic doesn't suit the game, that's my only criticism.
The story is highly engaging and its really well written, you have twists, you have Star War references and cameos, great character development, its really what you hope a sequel has.
I strongly recommend the game and I am really looking forward to the next sequel since the plan seems to be a trilogy.
