Oh boy! What happened here?
The game play is pretty much the same but everything seems to have taken a step back. Upgrading moves is much simpler now which for whatever reason seems pointless. All the the same force powers are back with the new added "Mind Trick" which has few uses. Force Lightning seems to pack less of a punch in this game even when fully upgraded. The saber throw is useless, and by that I mean I only used it when I had to progress through the game. Force Push is the same, and your light saber seems to be pretty much the same but they have done away with combos and now you just mash the button. Force Repulse you only really use on one enemy.
The story is even worse. It's almost none existent. Your introduced as a clone of Starkiller and there is an immediate disconnect. Same characters as well which is a let down. The best part is the cameo "level" which has no point really.
The levels are also a major problem. You end up replaying one and back tracking through another. The first game had 4+ planets, this one has 2 and a ship.
Bosses. Only 1 is actually cool and none of the fights themselves are actually memorable, or fun.
Replay value, collecting holocrons is pretty much pointless. Most you just run into and the levels don't have much to explore. There are also to level objectives.
Anyway just don't BUY this game. If you were a fan of the first then go RENT this game. I beat it in 6 hours roughly, one evening. Save your money.
