This game gets such a high rating because of its superb replay value. I won't pretend that this game is fantastic, or even one of the top 5 Mario Parties ever, but it is a game that is great fun, and is perfect for what the Switch is. 4 player Co-op fun. That being said the animations can get tedious, I wish there were more boards to play on, and the game play and strategy isn't as deep as GameCube Mario Parties, but the addition of the Buddy system and a bevy of game modes make up for most of the critique. Very glad they brought Mario Party to the Switch!
