Interesting but just not hitting the mark

Overall, this game just wasn't what I had hoped for.

I somewhat liked the visual style and some of the gameplay elements. What I appreciate is that the developers implemented some aspects that are contrary to most other games in terms of character development and had some interesting ideas about dreams, lunar cycles and music. The setting and characters were interesting at times, but ultimately seemed to lack depth and rounding to me.

Unfortunately, I did not much care for the actual music (though the artist's name is forever carved into my brain), which was an important part of the game. Furthermore, the controls were clearly made for playing on a tablet and not optimized for playing the game on PC. Lastly, parts of the game were very slow and repetitive. I don't mind games that are not so fast-paced, but this game lacked content in these parts for me.

The game to me looked like it has a lot of potential and there were aspects that I liked. However, the problems in terms of story depth, controls, pace and contact made me feel like the game was not 'complete' and ruined it's enjoyability for me.
