Why aren't more people talking about this game?
Battles take place classic RPG style in an intimate 'arena' once you initiate battle but the attack and defend options are timed and in real time and there are no random battles. The art and design is superb, the music is amazing (and always well-timed).
Above everything, though, is the narrative. This is an example of great narration in video games, which does things only an interactive gaming experience can do. And as if it weren't well-written enough, the writing's clever and manages to stay warm without descending into snarkiness.
Well done! If I had my way these developers wouldn't ever be not working on a game.
