Tony Hawk's Proving Ground is so fun and well-made. The graphics are amazing for a PS2 game, and it's not choppy at all. The gameplay is fun and frustrating at times, but once you learn what to do it becomes easier. Create-a-skater is very awesome, except that you can't change the look of the given faces. You feel like you're in an actual town, and it's fun to check down a ton of pedestrians. The tricks are as good as ever, and the faces of the skaters are well advanced. The hairstyles are fun and realistic, and the clothes are very interesting. Hardcore is my favorite type of play, and career isn't bad either. Rigger mode is interesting for the people who are creative and have a good vision of mind. Some times you get fed up with the game, but come back to it and find your mistake and say, "that was easy, why didn't I think of that before?" and continue playing. Overall this game has gotten a bad wrap against it, but it literally is fun and addictive. You can have yourself created or make a new character. Free skate and other multiplayer games are fun and exciting...especially the classic game Horse. It's fun and frustrating, and you always have a good button mash or two.
