Devil may cry meets ex gen throwback. Only play if a) you are renting it, or b) you are a gamerscore whore like myself.

Vikings.......wearing electronic gear, fighting robot 'trolls' and 'goblins'. Sounds good? Well its pretty pants really. The combat is frustrating to the extent where you might find yourself doing the 'turn it off, then turn it straight back on routine'. You'd think that implementing the right analogue stick for the combat would make things fluent, but it does the opposite. Your guy will sluggishly swing at a crowd of baddies, and only take down a couple. Not the satisfying combat I would have expected from this sort of game.

The camera angles are appaling, you cant look around or adjust the camera. I dont think there is any excuse for this in this day and age.

The bosses are ridiculously hard, and when you die, it takes about 2 minutes to respawn as every time you have to sit through the same animation of a viking god floating down from a beam of light, picking you up, and then putting you back down. (waste of time)

The equipment upgrade section is complicated, cluttered and never properly expalined, which adds to overall mess and dissapointment.

The main positive for the game (I really struggle to find one) is the acheivements. I got 200G in about 1 hour of play, so not too bad on that front.

Please rent before you buy.
