Awesome game, great transformations. Perfect for a G1/Live Action Transformers fan. Even better if you like multiplayer.
PLOT: 8.5/10
The game has a really good plot. It is very confusing if you don't start with the Decepticons. Well, not confusing, but it makes a little more sense if you play Decepticons first. The plot is just Megatron wants to put Dark Energon into the core of Cybertron. You'll see, it's great! I was gonna put the whole plot in here (did I really just almost misspell it to "ploot"?!) But that took to long, and it was huge, and would make sure you didn't read the whole review.
GRAPHICS: 7.5/10
The graphics a really good, to a guy who doesn't really care about graphics. It's got the same split-apart-and-pull-back-in-as-a-different-shape transformation as the movie, which I really like, because it looks AHSUM!
SOUND: 9.5/10
I really love the sounds and voices the game gives. It's really accurate sounds for a big robotic planet, according to my best guess at what one sounds like. Guess what? PETER CULLEN VOICES OPTMUS! :D I don't think they could have used better voices for Optimus, Bumblebee, Ratchet, Ironhide, Megatron and so on. All of the transformer's voices fit them.
MULTIPLAYER: 10/10
This is the best Multiplayer I've ever seen next to Revenge of the Fallen. The Multiplayer isn't your average: "Hey buddy, wanna play War for Cybertron?" "No thanks my arms got sore last time trying to squeeze them in next to yours on the keyboard." This is where you go online and fight against other players WORLDWIDE!! There are several types of Multiplayer:
Team Deathmatch: Your average: Autobots VS. Decepticons. First to get the maximum kills wins. Deathmatch: KILL EVERYONE YOU SEE!!!! Conquest: Control multiple Node locations to accumulate points. Get 400 for your team to win. Code of Power: Find the Code of Power melee weapon and plant it at your base. Team with the most points (most time with the Code of Power) wins after 2 rounds. Countdown to Extinction: Plant a bomb and let it explode in the enemy's base 3 times to win. Power Struggle: Same as Conquest but one Node at a time.
OVERALL: 9.5/10
The game is a great game. Good Multiplayer, sound, graphics, plot, and it's good for fans of both G1 and the movies.
When I wrote this review, my computer didn't have a glitch where most games including WfC made the computer crash. >.
