10 Minutes of Kirby and the Forgotten Land Gameplay

Check out ten minutes of brand new gameplay from Kirby and the Forgotten Land showing off new Mouthful Modes like Stairs Mouth, Dome Mouth, and Storage Mouth, as well as two Treasure Road stages, the new Ranger copy ability, the Gotcha Machine, and the battle against Gorimondo.

We've got some hot preview gameplay for the new Kirby game coming your way. Kirby and the Forgotten Land includes a whole new mode based around the loveable pink mascot's love of eating anything and everything. Mouthful mode, as it is called, lets you see just how daring Kirby will get this time around. Nothing is off limits. Stairs, Refrigerators, and even whole cars end up inside out small pink hero as he uses these items to solve practical puzzles and get to new places he wouldn't normally be able to reach. Classic Kirby fans don't need to worry, he still has his trusty copy ability too, and you'll even see some of those on display here! He's just slurping up everything up in sight!

It's kinda crazy how one of the most powerful beings in the universe's whole main thing is eating stuff to solve their problems. But like in a really cool way. Kirby has been around for a while and keeps finding new ways to use eating to solve problems. Mouthful mode is a very good addition to his suite of abilities. Maybe we'll see it come back in some way in the next Smash Brothers? It would be neat to see Kirby fit a whole Landmaster tank from Star Fox or something in there and see what he could do. Wait, does mouthful mode work on people? Kinda hope not. That's almost as unsettling as Mario controlling people with a hat if you think about it. Guess we are going to have to wait until the game comes out to see!

Kirby and the Forgotten Land comes out on the Nintendo Switch on March 25th, 2021. Be sure to check it out yourself and see what else Kirby is brave enough to put in his mouth.
