Battleborn is shutting down, and by January 2021, the Gearbox game will be completely unplayable on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Publisher 2K Games says it's planning to, quote, "focus [its] efforts and resources on other projects." The game will be sunset in stages, and as of February 24, 2020, you'll no longer be able to purchase in-game currency.
