God of War: Ragnarok Was Delayed - We Know Why | GameSpot News

The reason behind God of War: Ragnarok’s delay was revealed by the game’s voice actor Christopher Judge. The rumored GTA remastered collection is rated ahead of any official reveal or announcement. Sony acquires Bluepoint Studio and adds to its ever growing collection of first party studios.

In today's GameSpot news update, DeVante discusses God of War: Ragnarok's latest delay, GTA's rumored collection receiving a rating before its announcement, the return of the Game Awards, and Sony's acquisition of Blue Point games.

God of War voice actor Christopher Judge announced on Twitter that a reason for God of War: Ragnarok's delay was from some recent medical issues. The actor needed back surgery as well as both of his hips replaced in August of 2019. Judge added that the recovery time in rehab was also a factor.

Geoff Kieghley also took to twitter this morning to announce a "save the date" for the return of the Game Awards show. Live from Los Angeles in the Microsoft Center, this year's show will take place on December 9th and will be available to stream worldwide.

Lastly, Grand Theft Auto’s rumored remastered collection gets a rating from Korea despite any official announcements confirming its existence. The collection is rumored to feature the PS2 titles including Grand Theft Auto III, Vice City, and San Andreas running on the Unreal Engine. An updated user interface is also rumored, and should improve on the latest ports of the game which have mostly been ports of the iOS version.
