Klonoa: Door to Phantomile debuted on the original PlayStation in 1997. The follow-up, Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil came to PlayStation 2 in 2001. Despite its positive reception, Klonoa has been absent since 2008 when a remake of Klonoa 1 was released for the Nintendo Wii.
Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series will feature remasters of both Klonoa 1 and 2 with improved visuals. The games boast a colorful, cartoonish art style that takes place in 2.5D world.
The collection hits storefronts on July 22, 2022. It will come to PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S and X. For more Summer Game Fest coverage, stay tuned to GameSpot.
