I've been a Ys fan since the Sega Master System, and boy, this one is the absolute best one yet. The art is just spectacular! the attention to detail in the environment, the amazing soundtrack, the characters, history, what's not to like ? One of the best aspects of this version, is that you can enjoy the Superb work from Japanese voice actors, with translated dialog and menus. The battle system is simple, yet fun, the history is not about some evil deity trying to destroy the world, this one is much more realistic, and let's you feel connected. To think the Vita hardware could deliver such a fantastic experience is a dream come true. Ys seven looked beautiful on the PSP, but this one is on par with the PS4 version. The only handheld game I remember getting this involved was the PSP masterpiece of Final Fantasy Type-0. It's just a must have for any Vita gamer out there, as one of the best games on the system.
