Do you prefer soft tacos or hard tacos?

I prefer soft ones because they don't break easily. What do you guys prefer?

Hard for some reason. I just want a fajita when I'm getting the soft one. Hard one feels like I'm digging into a grip of nachos which is dope.

Soft "street" tacos; two fresh corn tortillas griddled--preferably in a little grease from the cooking meat--then filled with meat, onion, cilantro, and some salsa or hot sauce.

Love me some tongue, carnitas, and al pastor.

Double points if they serve it along with some grilled or griddled jalapenos or pickled carrots and onions or something acidic.

I like hard tacos too, though. I had a crunchy taco filled with mashed potato the other day that was surprisingly good for seeming so ordinary. Another one had refried beans and then ground beef inside, that was also good.

Man, I love tacos. Om nom nom, all day long, om nom nom. Tacos in my belly.

I like the soft ones a bit better, but I am good with both.

I heard the hard ones were not really Mexican from some Mexican friends, but I like both Mexican and Tex Mex so I don't care.

I enjoy both but if I'm cooking them for just myself I'll go with soft shells. I can add more meat and fixings.

Well if we are talking about Mexican tacos, then yeah soft, corn torillas. I prefer this style.

Tho I do like the American nonsense we do too. Basically a nacho sandwich.

Soft tacos tbh. Never got into hard tacos. Though overall, I prefer a fajita over a taco tbh.

Soft. But then I might get a Doritos Locos taco too.

Probably soft. Although, I do like both.

This would’ve been an awesome poll to have.

Probably soft, though hard is nice for something like a minced meat. I also love my tacos with elote, which is corn cobs brushed with a mayo/chili/paprika/cheese/lime.

Hard.

Wish Mexican food was more of a thing here but outside of cheap imitation packets and doing it yourself (nope), very limited.

Hard tacos because I like to add stuff and it holds the stuffing like chili, cheese shredded, and so on to get that crunch feeling. Soft taco are ok, but hard is the better ones.

Anyone that says hard tacos probably lives in the UK or Canada, or anywhere but close to Mexico.

Chili on a taco? God damn, you think it's a chili dog or something?

I'm convinced some of you haven't had a real taco a day in your lives.

@jaydan: Well, that's one of the best things about hard tacos, you can add just about any meats you can think of.

That's something you would say if you have never had real Mexican food before. Lol

If given the choice, always soft. Easier to eat and no mess.
