The vast majority of those Helldivers 2 sales are from the PC version. So they're basically comparing PS5+PC to the PS4 alone.

In terms of physical retro stuff, I still have some old Gen 5 and Gen 6 consoles and games that have been collecting dust.
Atari vs. Intellivision was the Boomer console war.
But it was more like the shortest console war, not the longest. It only lasted three years, from 1980 up until the 1983 crash.
Either way, ColecoVision was better than both.
Yeah I suppose so. I don't watch a lot of anime but I've seen some gundam and appleseed or whatever the mech shows and movies are, it doesn't really seem too inspired by that.
It was fun, though. Definitely recommend it if you can turn off your brain for a couple hours and just enjoy it. First 1/3 is tough though because J-Lo is unlikeable until her "emotional breakthrough" or whatever you want to call it.
I don't know about the plot, but the mechs remind me of mecha anime. All I know about the plot is some AI terrorist thing... which reminds me of a cyberpunk anime, Ghost in the Shell.
Not really a J-Lo fan (liked a few songs here and there), but I might add it to my Netflix list.
Only seen the trailer... Seems more like a live-action mecha anime.
But FF8 is the greatest RPG ever made.
You have got to be kidding... FF8 is the greatest game ever made!
I really hope we don't get another action remake. Gonna be really disappointed if that's the case.
Honestly can't really see how FF9 needs a remake. The graphics are pretty stellar for being on the PS1. The pacing of the story was good; decent side content.
There are a few PS1 RPGs that could use a remake to fix or fill out the story which was compromised due to budget or time constraints (looking at you, Xenogears).
FF9 has a fan remaster in the works, the Echo-S mod (already mentioned above).
It just needs a proper official remaster like this, rather than a full remake. But if they are going the full remake route, then they should stay faithful and stick to turn-based combat. The point of FF9's original production was to go back to the series roots, so it wouldn't make any sense to suddenly make it an action RPG.
Fake news.
With approx. $80b CCE, Microsoft is preparing an offer of $16b for Valve

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time did that style of combat first... All that Batman did is dumb it down.
