Well I am! Like there are so many movies coming that are in 3D! Its like Avatar (i think) started this whole 3D thing and then now every big movie must have 3D in it. If all these movies like Pirates 4, Spider-man Reboot, Tron Legacy, Toy Story 3, Resident Evil, and many more are in 3D its less likely I'll see them in theaters cause it costs more to see 3D movies than normal movies. And there are rumors that Thor and Captain America movies will be 3D?

It's kind of a gimmick and I have yet to see it add anything significant to a movie other than price.

I've yet to see a movie that convinced me that 3D is the future of film. Maybe one day there will be, but for now, I'll remain skeptical.

Yeah. Just cuz there's so many. If it were like a few years ago, where 3D wasn't common, I'd be fine with it.

It's becoming too much of a gimmick now; whenever I see a movie in 3D, I forget/don't notice it's 3D after about five minutes.

It's just a gimmick. Some uninspired directorrecalledan old idea that worked in the past so they tried it again. Naturally every other wannabe jumped on the band wagon but since they areincompetent they will whore it until the next FAD.

Before re-3D it was... lots of explosions and gunfire topped off with ridiculous stunts that were nothing but a HUGE waste of money since we are no longer entertained by the extreme B.S within action films.

I'm certainly tired of people complaining about it.

It's not nails driven into your head, it's an optional way of viewing a movie.

At least the current 3d presentation is much better than older attempts such as spy kids.

It's cool to have a 3D movie every oncein a long while but when it starts to be more movies are 3D then regular.....then it just gets really stupid.

No. Because, you see, unlike some people who hate it, I'm not forced to watch them at gunpoint and I can choose the 2D option. Now, if 3D ever becomes the standard and only watchable form of film then I will be mad.

The movie production is distracted by the 3D though and could be using the time to work on the actual movie.

If the people making the movie are so stupid that they think quality 3D effects are better than quality film making, what makes you think they could actually produce a competent film with all their effort imaginable put into the movie?

Like when? If it's a conversion, it's just part of post production and has no bearing on the film itself, if it's shot in 3D, it's shot in 3D. There's no inherent difference, if it is used in a gimmicky fashion like in many horror films, I imagine we didn't lose much great filmmaking in the process, so I wouldn't worry about it.

I never bought into 3d movies just yet. Not really sure if I am willing to spend $3 more at the theater for the same experience I get at standard price.

Everyone seems to get so upset over it and I really don't know why. Personally I like watching the movies in 3D, a lot of people don't and that's why they usually release the movie without 3D.

It doesn't effect the story development, the plot, the characters, or the atmosphere at all. It does effect the special effects by making them look fake and it also effects my wallet. So no, i don't like it.

Well, it's the first film ever to be shot with 3-D technology and it's the highest grossing film of all-time so that is not that shocking. Only problem is that many films are just adding the 3-D for the reason of making more money and doing it cheap with conversions in post-production. Which is why we see films with pointless and horribly done 3-D (Alice in Wonderland, Clash of the Titans, ect.)

It costs like a dollar more where I live for 3D movies so... not much of a problem. Still surprising to see 16 instead of like 14.30 on the bill

Yes I am tired of it. Specifically where they do things that are OBVIOUSLY trying to make it look 3D. Like exagerrated movement toward the screen or things being thrown at the screen. I absolutely HATE that. And then you watch the movie in 2D and it so obvious at the parts that were supposed to be 3D that it makes the movie annoying.

I have no problems with 3D movies. They're a novelty now, so they're popular. If moviegoers decide they don't like them, they'll go away.

Hey guess what? Don't go then. Beowulf was awesome in 3D. It's not 3D of years ago, there is no eye strain or headaches. I have no real problem with them. The only thing I don't like is that some movies seem like they're made in 3D only for the sake of being in 3D. From what I hear Cameron kind of took a step back and did a lot of innovative things with Avatar, but will Resident Evil be better in 3D than 2D? Probably not.

I am in no way interested in 3d until i can see a movie in 3d without having to wear some stupid cumbersome uncomfortable pair of glasses. Having to wear the glasses for me is intolerable.
