Sold out immediately again. I did manage to get 1 into cart on best buy. Then quickly crashed and that was that. What a joke . I"m in on AMD after seeing those benchmarks. IF i can get one.
My only chance to get myself a 3070 is to go at Best Buy and be there as early as possible. It's better than sitting at home hitting refresh button over and over again.
I'm going to end up with a PS5 before I get a 3080 from the looks of it, Nvidia really dropped the ball.
If I end up completing Cyberpunk before I stock comes in... I might end up just not getting a new GPU and just sticking with a 2080 Ti.
I would just wait until you have your new GPU. I am probably not even going to play CP 2077 right away even though I already have a 3080. I will most likely wait for some patches to avoid bugs and performance issues. That game is going to be special and I don't want to ruin the experience.

Since you have a 2080ti the upgrade to a RTX 3080 is not really worth it , imo. Your only going to get between 15-30% depending on the game/resolution.

The gap can be larger than that. Just look at Horizon: Zero Dawn...
43% performance difference at 4K. Also, 3080 has HDMI 2.1 which is a big selling point for us 4K/120hz OLED owners. It is definitely worth the upgrade.
