Folks need some help, bought a 6600gt from ebay to couple with my older one however the dude i bought it from seems to have been messing around with it. This is the bios: 5.43.02.36.00 but does any one knows a way to flash the bios in these cards, either back to the original or to the next best thing, the newest one. Its an xfx, but i could not see anything on their website about bioses/firmware.
hmmm. Is there something wrong with it? because most of what happens to the bios is done to enable temp monitoring or something like that... I know I moded my 6600 GT (MSI) to 540/1040 from the stock 500/900. Not hard and I think it was nvFlash or something... Been a while since I have done it... It's not hard just if you are not comfortable with it don't try it... You can mess up your card by putting the wrong bios on it.
