Limit your framerate and use full screen

Shouldn't the 3070 be capable of way more ?

This is what from a 1050 ti or somin.

Is it smart if I buy a 1050 ti rn btw

I just bought a desktop and It only came with intel uhd 630 graphics. The cpu is a i5 10400 tho.

Not surprising at all - 1080p is easy peasy for that GPU, so it will render at some ridiculous framerate and can create a CPU-bound scenario (basically the CPU running as fast as it can to feed that hungry GPU with new info). That's why limiting the framerate "helped" -> now both the CPU and GPU are probably twiddling their thumbs between each frame :-P
