How many games let you escape prison?

Hi

I was just thinking about this... How many games actually have a good level of braking out of a prison?

I don't mean a complete game that handles braking out of a prison (you can post it if it's a really good game) , but I mean more like Splinter Cell Double Agent. They've got one mission where you brake out of the prison and it was really cool.

In the first Hitman game the first level was about escaping a prison. I thought it was such a cool level when I first played it that it just stuck with me. I don't know if the level actually was that good though, but the game itself was amazing.

Yeah that's right I forgot about that one. It was more of a tutorial. They learned you the basics in that level. It was pretty cool though.

How about Oblivion? If you get caught, you can escape the prison.

Oblivion has a prison breakout of sorts.

unreal 1 first level is prison escape. wolfenstein 1 also

+1 actually i returned there after i finished getting all decked out in phat gear just to kill the stupid elf across the way.. what a jerk..

anyway mgs3, CoR: escape from butcher bay, goldeneye, hl2:riot act (game mod) are all good suggestions.

i really like riot act.. its VERY fun while it lasts.. its not long like 2-3 hours tops but its so much fun i played it a second time basically you spark a prison riot over at one of the combine's lower level facilites and raise a frigging army.. its quite fun.. if you really loved the tial end of hl2 then you will REALLY love hl2: riot act

I thought there was a "break out of a prison" level in GTA Vice City or San Andreas, but I don't remember for sure. I could be making a mistake.

Well, there's one Dark Brotherhood mission where you have to sneak into the Imperial City prison, kill one of the prisoners, and escape again. That was one of the coolest prison-related missions I've ever done in a game, and one of the most fun stealth missions as well.

The Postal series also lets you escape prison. Forgot about that one. Probably because it's so lame. My opinion....

Far Cry 2 lets you escape a prison.

Raises an interesting concept. I don't think there has ever been a game solely about a prison break. Could be pretty cool gathering materials, weapons, etc. without getting caught.

I remember this rather old game, Prisoner of War, which was completely based around escaping a prison. The game had a day\night cycle, the AI had their routines (roll call every morning, gym and food around midday etc.) and you had quite a few nice ways to escape prison.koospetoors

Didn't Fable let you escape prison? I remember vaguely fighting some sort of octopuss.

As mentioned, saints row, but honestly dont even think about going there, horrbile unstable game
