Well I currently bought a 7950GT on 1/11/07. The EVGA 7950GT 256mb version. So I have 63 days left for the step up program. And they are currently releasing the 8800GTS 320mb for 300 bucks right? When and will it be a good idea if I can do the step-up program to go to the 8800GTS 320mb. Is it worth it?

I believe it's being released next month, or possibly late this month.

Would it be good to upgrade it? It should only cost me about 75-100 bucks to change from my 7950GT to the 8800GTS.

That will make for a very good upgrade indeed, but I'd consider the 8600 Ultra as well, instead of locking yourself into one card. Wait for the benchmarks before making the plunge.

I'd say it's well worth it, another gig of ram wouldn't hurt either :)

How does this step-up program work?  Edit: Nevermind, found it on the site.

Most defeinately, I have tried both the GTX and the GTS out at my uncles work. I must say the have exceptional good performance. They also are extremely efficient. When I do my upgrade I am going GTX without a doubt!
