Which Intel graphics chipset? You may not be limited to pixel-art games, but mostly 2D games probably. A decent Intel chipset could play Hades or other Supergiant 2D titles.
That said, there's plenty of awesome pixel-art or games with simpler 2D graphics.

Specifically, my chipset is the Intel HD graphics 520.
For the entire machine itself, it's actually a Surface Book 1, so it's kind of an expensive potato. If you're curious about it's specs you can find them here.

There are different variants, mine is one of the most basic i5 models with 8GB RAM.
Edit: Well now I feel foolish, after taking a closer look there is actually two GPU's on my machine. There is a NVIDIA® GeForce® dGPU with 1GB GDDR5 memory.
I used to play the likes of skyrim on an old first gen Trinity APU. It was surprisingly poky. It could play 360 level games at 720P pretty well.
You will need to drop the resolution for many games. The 3000X2000 resolution will be very taxing. But drop the resolution to 720P ish in game (for the more demanding 3D games) and it should certainly be up for at least PS3/360 level games. Assuming you are using the built in 13.5" screen to play the game on: playing at 3000X2000 would be pretty pointless anyway.
For a more smaller device though i prefer to play games like sim city or some light JRPGs. Something like baldurs gate/Planescape Torment. Theme Hospital (or the more modern two point hospital)...ah there loads no shortage of things to play. It's a PC at the end of the day.
@Sam3231: Yeah, Surface Books can have discrete GPUs although I don't think all models did. Unless you've got one of the higher end configurations it probably won't be great. All of the 2D indie games mentioned are great and shouldn't have an issue.

What @osan0 said seems accurate in this case. It seems like it might do most 360 level games at 720p. I tested MG:Rising in this case and it plays pretty well at low settings, 720p.
In short, everyone I lied it's not exactly a potato, feel free to recommend more potato games anyway. I already checked out Ion Fury and it's damn good.

Opposing force (for some stupid ass reason, Gamespot doesn't appear to have a page for Half-Life: Opposing Force....WTF Gamespot? I know you suck ass as a site in this day and age, but seriously? Anyway, I linked you to Steam for the game if you haven't checked it out before)
In all honesty, I actually liked the Blue Shift and Opposing Force more than Half-Life itself. I played through them both (again) a couple of years ago, still fun to play.
