What is your opinion on this Acer Aspire 5? Should I buy it?

I'm looking for a cheap laptop that will run ff14 endwalker decently. Might this be the laptop for the job?

It has i5-1135G7 cpu, GeForce 450MX gpu, 8 ram (3200 mhz, upgradeable to 24GB), sata ssd 512 gb drive. It costs ~450$

What do you think about this laptop?

Would it be enough for my needs?

P.S: I do not have an option to game on a desktop for now.

For around 100$ more you can buy a laptop with a GTX 1650. Not exactly the best GPU on the market but has good performance for the price. The only downer is that usually these laptops only come with 256GB SSD but I think its enough if you dont want many games installed at the same time and you can always upgrade later. But for the relatively small difference in price is way more worth it imo

That's a pretty good deal. FF14 minimum gpu is a gtx 750, and the mx450 outperforms that by a bit. If you don't mind playing at mid-low settings, this laptop will work.

Like Vatusus said, something with a 1650 would do quite a bit better, but if you want to spend less than $500, the Aspire is an adequate machine.

@vatususreturns: Bro, you are a prophet. I just checked if Acer aspire 5 is still in store and it isn't. Somebody bought it while I was waiting for replies.

But I found the next best thing and what do you know, it's a laptop with a gtx 1650 gpu and it costs 100$ more . I'm gonna buy it if people reccomend it. Im off to creating a new post about MSI GF63 Thin.

@judaspete: Ha! Maybe more than a bit. But if the additional $100 isnt a big deal, the 1650 will do much better.
