We're definitely light in the striker department, having got rid of RvP, Falcao (lol), Hernandez (wasn't here last year anyway), and loaned out Wilson and Januzaj. We absolutely have to buy a striker or we're fucked having to rely on just Rooney. We still don't have that creative outlet in the team, and we sold our potential best creative player in Di Maria, but the key word there is potential, as he didn't really show it last year. It remains to be seen whether Memphis can be that. Schmidfield is a great improvement. Defensively, Darmian looks like a shrewd buy, and Smalling and Shaw have stepped up a level so far from last year. Not convinced by Blind. Goalkeeper is obviously weaker.

Turns out you didn't XD Madrid sent the documentation too late or something like that and the transfer isn't valid. It's weird, but extremely laughable from a Barcelonista point of view.

And sorry for the delay, I'm pretty goddamn busy with my studies these days. As soon as I saw the goal you were the first thing that poped up in my mind, so I decided to poke my head in and congratulate you on the wonderful goal your team conceded! ;))))

hahaha nice! And honestly... no, I can't watch the match... in fact I can't watch a lot of matches. A company called Mediapro bought the rights to the UCL and didn't reach an agreement with Movistar, which is the company with the most customers, after having bought another company called Digital+ which is the one that had all the UCL matches... it's a bit complicated but yeah, I barely get any UCL matches, so I was able to watch the Madrid one yesterday (yay..) but not Barça's today :'(

One of the few good things about my old country is that you don't have to deal with companies or pay money to watch football matches, you just turn on the tv and it's all there, free of charge!

@elkoldo: Dammit :( honestly my money is on Movistar folding and purchasing the rights once the knockout stages roll around... the group stages are expendable at best but the knockouts? I doubt it.

Damn, Barça isn't doing to well right now... I just hope we don't fall too far behind Madrid and survive the group stage of the UCL until January, when we'll have Messi back, Iniesta and Arda Turán will be available... maybe we'll be able to sign someone new to help the trio in the transfer window...

A lot of talk on the blogs and forums about Jose getting the sack and I don't know what I'd go with right now. Thinking it over I'm very conflicted. He obviously loves the club and his reputation and is refusing to resign where lesser men would have left and continued to cash in a pay cheque. He's human and not perfect like everyone else. But on the other hand the whole Eva thing really seems to have caused a rift and if he did lose the dressing room, that will be a huge handicap for him. No doubt the players deserve some blame and really should be performing at their best regardless of who the manager is though.
