Horizon Forbidden West has become one of my favorite games of all time...

So I'm about 30 hours in (Level 25) and I can confidently say this is an all time great for me. Everything has blended together for a true masterpiece. Gameplay, graphics, soundtrack, performance, quests, customization, skills, voice acting, menu UI, just everything really. I've spent hours just in the photo mode alone, this open world is truly breathtaking. It's been a blast exploring the map and taking everything in. Even the side quests that I've done have been really fun. Land traversal has been awesome fun gliding around and combat is silky smooth. Aloy has really grown on me since the first game and she is definitely a worthy main character among the PlayStation greats. I could go on and on but I'm diving back in now and seeing where my adventures take me!

Did the game fix any of the issues from the last one? I love how they copied the glider from Zelda though, the last game was boring traversing.

Its the kind of games that infuriates every lemming because they know and understand that their system is incapable of achieving such high quality assets.

No one cares about Horizon. It came and went.

Horizon Forbidden West open world is gorgeous I never seen forest in any game look that good it reminds me of desktop wallpaper coming to life.

Why can't my Elden Ring look like that? Why? WHY????

Why? GG has always been a pretty average to good AAA dev hyped up more than they deserved because they belong to Sony.

There were many quality of life issues that were overlooked. In isolation it not a big issue but when added they all become a major burden to the overall experience. The combat felt like there was a massive downgrade or it wasn't updated to meet the expectations of the times.

The first Horizon was a snooze-fest. I'll have to force myself through it because this game looks great.

This is worrying. I guess I'll find out when I player whenever it comes to PC or the PS5 Pro hits the shelves but if they went backward on QOL and the combat feels like a step down, that's a huge problem.

I was expecting to enjoy HFW more than Elden Ring but I was so annoyed with the experience that I just finished the campaign and jumped onto Elden Ring with no regrets.

With that said, these issues that I experienced are very fixable with updates. So, your experience with the future version maybe more enjoyable.

Elden Ring dont give a crap about dont get the hype about it and just tired of hearing about that over hyped game. Horizon zero dawn was the best sony game ever made and like a top 15 game of all time. FW is even better likely around a top 10 game of all time.

Let me remind you that Elden Ring isn't only a good game, its the best game to come out in the last 10-15 years. Do not be tired of hearing about this game because there's no end in sight. It will never end. Its permanent.
