How awesome was N64?

It was OK but Saturn was much better for us hardcore gamers.

What was wrong with the GC? Pikmin, F-Zero GX, Paper Mario 2, Eternal Darkness, RE4 and Remakes, Killer 7, Metroid Prime 1+2, Zelda WW and TP, Sunshine, Battalion wars, Strikers, Rebel Strike, Animal Crossing, SSBM, etc.

Anyway, N64 was great... just not as great as SnES

I think The Legend Of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures at least deserves a mention. Yes, the GBA connectivity was annoying, but even the single player experience was a lot of fun. I got it a week ago and beat it this morning. :)

sin & punishment, hurts my fingers.... but apart from that, pretty darn good game... makes me wish nintend would make an n64 controller attachment for the wiimote

I still play it sometimes.

N64 was good, but not on the same level as the SNES. It has some good games for sure, but a lot of bad ones and not a lot of variety of games. *Looks at the N64 rpg genre compared to the SNES*

However IF N64 would had been a cd format, it would of owned that generation hands down.

Terribly overpriced games, and the wait between the big hitters was unbearable. PS1 was much better. NavigatorsGhost

Yeh agreed. I enjoyed FFVII more then anything else that gen. Resident Evil, MGS, (Gran Turismo, Need For Speed (when the series were actually good games). Also Crash Bandicoot was definitely a big hit on the PS1.
