Will it come to PC this year? Just a slight rumor coming from Insider Gaming regarding GoT PC port could be announced on March 5th, 2024. If true, (and we know it will come to PC) this could possibly hurt Ubisoft on their upcoming Feudal Japan game AC Red coming out this year as well since GoT is AC but better.

As always take this with a grind of salt🤔 And it should be noted I'm a huge fan of the game myself. I'll gladly double-dip on this😎

Garbage game with a garbage combat system, but nice visuals and art direction. Not interested at all.

The game was a AC in Japan. I found it to be meh. I played it immediately after AC:Unity so the similarities were supremely clear. And, lets not talk about that garbage story.😂 With all that said, it is not a bad game.

And for those who think Ghost's combat system is good cuz its flashy n shit, play Dragon's Dogma 2, and then come back to that autopilot combat system Ghost has, and you'll understand.

I have the Director's Cut for PS5 sitting here. I really should get to playing it some day.

seems like on here most people with a playstation like one of sony's open world games - hzd, got, days gone, spiderman etc but didn't really like the rest. for me it's hzd (sadly, not forbidden west)

GoT has absolutely superb combat. Is it as good as the GOTY-winning Sekiro from the year before? No... Nothing is.

But its weighty, engaging and razor sharp. Parries, especially perfect parries are satisfying as ****. Nice stance switches as well. I prefer GoT combat over Nioh 1-2 combat, but I place it just below Sekiro/Elden Ring/DS3/GOW/GOWR.

I still love how this game didn't shove UI elements in your face. Instead you became immersed in the world by following the wind or following a fox to its den.

When it comes to UI in games less is more.

Typically when Sony releases a game it’s usually a big deal.

@davillain: I have this game, and I played it briefly before getting bored. No doubt the art style was beautiful and it was great playing in ancient japan, but like others have said earlier, this game is pretty much AC Japan. Thats not a bad thing either since AC has its following, but I was never really into the AC games from the start.

the stance system is crap in tsushima, you just slap the correct stance vs what you are fighting and spam heavy attack

compared to real stances like Nioh it's laughably bad

I hope Demon's Souls is next

Its not a garbage take. The combat system looks very flashy and well animated, but its braindead easy. You can be playing on the highest difficulty available, and you're still god mode. Its way overtuned, and i am not a fan of combat systems that make you feel like a god UNLESS its an actual combat system with a high learning curve like DMC, then that's perfectly fine.

Well that's the whole point on the stance system. It's rock, paper, scissor style game and I too for one like it the combat. Granted, the game isn't perfect but once you master the game itself, it's a walk in the park. And sadly, I didn't enjoy Nioh at all. I tried so many time to get into it but it's not for me. Sekiro on the other hand was freaking amazing game.

Did you ever play the game on Lethal difficulty? you die in one shot. Two max.

Timing a parry in GoT is way harder than simply deflecting in Sekiro and that one mistake or two will cost you your life.

you can often find yourself surrounded by 3, 5, 7 or 10 enemies. Different armour types / enemy classes requiring different stances.

The combat is really is superb. Was it as hard to learn as Sekiro? No. Was it easier to master than Sekiro? Absolutely not.

Lethal GoT is *a lot* harder than DMC5's Easy / Normal / Son of Sparda modes and roughly on par with DMD for difficulty. H&H on DMC5 I would say is a lot harder than GoT.

So the difficulty is the, the combat has best in class animation and is sharp and locked in. Its great. top 10 best combat ever, imo.

@howmakewood: Making things more complex doesn't mean better. Nioh's combat isn't as refined as as GoT's.

Less is more and GoT > Nioh 1-2.

Lethal is the only difficulty i tried. What does it matter if you die in one hit, when simply by entering combat, you can insta delete 4+ enemy from a qte. And lets not forget the stupid kick, that when upgraded, allows you to insta kill them when on the ground. This game was made to attract the masses from titles such as asscreed.

Nioh combat in GoT would've been the best thing to happen to GoT. Nioh as a game is complete garbage. Team Ninja doesn't know how to create video games, but they do get the combat system. If GoT had Nioh combat system, i would've bought it 100%.

I'd like to play Ghosts... Thought it looked rough when they showed it pre launch but it was reviewed well enough. It's not the kinda game I'm expecting to light my world on fire, but I'd like to see how they handle the open world and whether the gameplay is mindless or has substance.

They handled the open world near identical to Assassin's Creed.

Not at all. GoT use less of UI meaning its not all over the place compared to Ubisoft's AC when its everywhere in the player's face. When it comes to PC/Steam Deck, you should at least give it a try.

My last AC was Odyssey. I really like the combat gameplay but the writing was lackluster at best. Went back to playing Origins 5 months ago. Never bother to pick up Valhalla, and I've heard good things about Mirage. I'll make my AC return with Mirage at some point.

@davillain: From what i've seen of GoT is looks almost wooden or stiff, and the combat seems basic and has camera problems when indoors fighting. I might buy it in a couple of years when I can get it for about $15 AUD nothing more.

I don't think it's better than AC, maybe in story but I don't care about that, story is the absolute last thing I care about in a game.

Love GOT, despise AC.

Hope it drops to PC before I croak, would love to rock some Samurai action on my Deck.

I can't remember the density of icons for the map but the core game is Assassin's Creed reskined.

We do not have enough Assassin Creed games, and they are all really good top notch games that should sit up heir with the best of the best because game journos who can't play games told me so.

Ghost of Tsushima is Assassin's Creed if Assassin's Creed were done right, you owe it to yourself to try this game.

Doubt the Deck can handle it, not at full settings anyway, but streaming is amazing. Play TLOU on ultra all the time.

I was thinking of playing Gravity Rush 1 on Vita but I ended up buying the PS4 remaster yesterday. Couldn't say no to that 60 fps and sharper graphics.

I own GR2 on PS4. I'm very likely to rebuy it on PC. Unless Sony does a free/cheap upgrade on PS5, that'd be cool of them.

I'm actually glad they are remastering GR2, nobody played that game and this gives people another chance to right their wrongs.
