The man killed two companies. The problem is that his story telling relies on shock, low-hanging-fruit, celeb cameos and completely disregarding whole "wrestling" thing. No intricate long term story-telling with a reward.

Like this for example, prior to Vince Mcmahon fucking it up because he likes jerking off to muscle men.

He didn't invent Stone Cold nor The Rock, he tried to take credit for it though and boasted about it a lot.

If actually look at it, it's crazy how fast he killed WCW. At one point WCW was beating WWE. Within months of him taking over it all went to shit. And in TNA people in the crowd apparently shouted out "fire Russo" due to his dumb shit.

If listen to Jim Cornette it becomes just apparent how stupid he is. TNA in general was badly run and learned nothing from WCW. Cornette gets in a fight every 25 seconds, but he's sharp as a razor.

Expected another boring John Oliver video. His Medicaid video three days ago was as cringey as ever, but (seven minutes in now) what he said about "Medicaid unwinding" seemed to relate to what happened to me in August, when I wrote,

"utah.gov sent an email today telling me there were updates on my case. I just went to the site to find out that my Medicaid (which I had for two years) was cancelled nine days ago, with a notification (on the site) a month ago telling me that I needed to complete a review to continue eligibility. They did not send any letters, nor email notifications between last year and today. Feels almost intentional. Very sneaky if so. Don't know if I wanna apply again. Giving them my bank statements was embarrassing."

X-Men's fifth season two-parter Storm Front was pretty clunky for having Storm's alien fiance Arkon do such a 180, personality-wise. Nothing suspicious about him in the first episode. Seems nice enough. Slaver and general asshole in the second. Even speaks/sounds more like a jerk. How lazy.

Played that WWF WrestleMania Arcade Game on the PS1 and really enjoyed back then.

finished the 3 body problem tonight. thought it was excellent.

must admit after the second episode it felt like it had set a lot of interesting but hard to connect story threads in motion and i didn't really have that much of a clue what was going on.

but then it does a surprisingly good job of quickly tying all those strands together and turning them into a gripping fast paced plot with planetary survival at stake. the production values are impressively high budget and well done too. shows the potential of vr off as well.

would recommend. plus it has this stunner🔥

Speaking of good endings, been 7 odd years since Samurai Jack S5 aired, Clone Wars has the best final (4 eps) seen of a TV show but I think overall Samurai Jack has one the most perfect quisi-reboots and seasons of a show.

Has to take steroids to keep playing the character he should have given up. Sad. Talked about his diet and training, but IIRC people added up the numbers and found that it made no sense.

I’m definitely down for Daredevil & Wolverine. Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman are just so perfect for these roles.

@uninspiredcup: Agree that Logan was a perfect end for the character, but I don't think Deadpool 3 ruins it. These movies are supposed to be absurd, and the third one being about multiverse bullshit gives it a free pass to just about anything... as long as it's funny.

That's something really liked about Kick-Ass as well, it had all the humor but little moments of humanity and brevity to it that I don't think Deadpool has. And if it tries doesn't really land.

i really liked deadpool 2. everything other than the soundtrack. i'm well up for the new one. it's not deadpool 3 apparently, the makers were keen to emphasise, not sure why exactly but yep count me in. be really interesting to see what overlap there is between it and loki s2, which was excellent

Had a contractor friend come out and remove some drywall to check the mold situation. If only they'd fully rectified this issue when it started, then there wouldn't be a need to now remove large portions of the wall to remove/kill the mold. The building's only 8 years old...
