The Last of Us Part II Goes Gold

Naughty Dog have announced that The Last of Us Part II has gone gold. Despite hindrances due to the coronavirus pandemic, the game is now complete.

The developer shared a video from Vice President Neil Druckmann. Therein he confirmed the game had gone gold, congratulated the hard work of the developers, and thanked the fans for their patience.

Druckmann also concluded the video with a clear reference to the recent leaks about the game, and the negative reception they had generated. “No matter what you’ve seen, or heard, or read- nothing compares to playing this thing from beginning to end. It’s a video game, you gotta play it.”

Really excited. I have a couple of friends that are also getting it at launch day.

Can't wait to play the gameplay looks great I don't care what anybody says about that. But I can see why people are turned off by the story it's pretty generic walking dead tropes but the gameplay is solid.

Well...despite I look at the scripts already, TLOU2 is or rather the PS4 exclusive I was so looking forward to and parts of me doesn't want it now but, I need to play the entire game in order to pass my whole judgment and talk about its gameplay alone. Digital pre-order is paid off and ready to play on June 19th.

Yeah, I'm honestly having a hard time believing the animations will be that realistic and fluid during gameplay. Like when she dodges the lady swinging an axe and bumps into the car... We'll know soon enough.
